There you will find an archive of issues of the journal published in print from 2015 to 2023, as well as newer publications from 2024 onwards.\r\nHREL was first published in 1981 by the late Professor Dimitrios Evrigenis, who served as its Director for the period 1981-1985. The late Professor Krateros Ioannou also served as Director of the journal from 1986 to 1999.\r\n\r\nAim of the journal is to promote the study and research in a wide range of areas of EU law. The subject matter of the studies published in HREL covers issues of EU Law, Public International Law, Private International Law, Human Rights Law and Comparative Law. HREL includes articles, case-law overviews and annotated case-law (of the CJEU \/ GCEU, the ECtHR and national courts), the developments in the EU, book presentations, the events and research activities of the CIEEL as well as studies of law students undertaking internships at the CIEEL.\r\n\r\nIn addition, HREL hosts, in special annual issues, the proceedings of the \"DIMITRIOS EVRIGENIS\" conferences, which are co-organised annually by the CIEEL, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Democritus University of Thrace, as well as the proceedings of the academic meetings held monthly at the CIEEL.\r\n\r\nThe journal accepts papers for publication throughout the year, which are made available on the website in a continuous flow, before being incorporated and published in the quarterly issue. Issues continue to be posted on the website of the Thessaloniki Bar Association, with free access for its members, and on the legal database of Sakkoulas Publications S.A.
