It is published by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cieel.gr\/\">Centre of International and European Economic Law (CIEEL)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dsth.gr\/\">Thessaloniki Bar Association<\/a> and hosted and distributed by \u201cProthiki Scientific publications management\u201d, a service provided by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.auth.gr\/\">Library and Information Centre of AUTh<\/a>.\r\n\r\nThe journal is an upgraded and expanded version of the \"Hellenic Review of European Law\", which was published annually by CIEEL, exclusively in print, from 2004 until today.\r\n\r\n<em>The Hellenic Review of European and Comparative Law<\/em> aims to promote the study of EU law, to encourage comparative and transnational legal studies and to highlight contemporary developments in Greek law. The journal also aims to promote the scientific dialogue between legal scholars from different legal traditions and to promote Greek legal scholarship abroad. The journal will publish, in English, French and German, original research studies and articles in the fields of EU law, European and international human rights law, comparative law and private international law.\r\n\r\nThe journal will also include annotations on judgments of the CJEU\/GCEU and the ECtHR, as well as comments on decisions of national courts that are of interest from the perspective of European and comparative law. Alongside the annual issue, special issues will also be published, which will include special tributes and proceedings of conferences, workshops and seminars on contemporary topics of European and comparative law.\r\n\r\n<strong>HRECL publishes three types of Journal Articles:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u2022 <em>Research articles<\/em> of a minimum of 7,000 and a maximum of 10,000 words (including any footnotes and references) based on one or more of the above-mentioned topics. It is imperative that research articles comply with scientific standards. Therefore, they are subject to peer review.\r\n\r\n\u2022 <em>Case notes<\/em> of approximately 3\u20135 pages in length that should analyze either recent cases of European Law that are relevant for Greece or Greek cases with a European or comparative dimension. Case notes are not subject to the referee process.\r\n\r\n\u2022 <em>Book Reviews<\/em> of approximately 2 to 4 pages in length that should concern a recently published book, relevant for either European or Comparative law.
