Programmes of Technical Assistance (TAIEX)

CIEEL participates in technical assistance programmes announced by the European Commission, in order to support the countries of Central and Eastern Europe during their process of harmonization with European standards. The programmes are either directly funded by the Commission (e.g. PHARE Programme) or are included in the general framework of the TAIEX Office of the European Commission activities (Technical Assistance Information Exchange Office). The main objective of TAIEX is the provision of technical assistance in EU Law issues. The beneficiaries of its activities include civil servants and workers, judges, lawyers and translators of legal documents exclusively from candidate countries.
