The CIEEL facilities are located in the outskirts of Thessaloniki, in the area of Finikas, Kalamaria. CIEEL is using these premises since 1987. The construction of the CIEEL was made possible through the support and funding of the European Communities. The building covers approximately 3.500 m2 of land and is situated on grounds of approximately 16.000 m2. The facilities include a fully equipped conference hall (the "Dimitrios Evrigenis" amphitheater) which seats 200 persons and has an integrated facility for simultaneous translation, as well as two seminar rooms, a library and a reading room.
The facilities of the CIEEL include since September 1995 the newly established National School of Judges. The students of the School have the opportunity to use freely the CIEEL facilities, especially the library and the documentation services.
